The Armstrong HS 1850 wing foil kit is an all-carbon premium top end foil that goes very well with any of our boards – it has amazing range, taking experienced riders from sub 10 knot riding, all the way to 25+ knots!

The HS (high speed) range uses a medium aspect foil geometry to give great performance for wingboards.  You will find these wings have low drag, so they get up to speed easily.   They are very rigid, with miminal flex and no joint movement.   This is as good as you can buy anywhere.

The benefits of Armstrong foils include

  • New Zealand engineering at its finest
  • Input from the winning NZ americas cup design team
  • All carbon construction – light weight and very stiff
  • Modular build – with interchangeable parts and a future proof concept
  • Titanium fittings that are strong and dont corode
  • Inclusive carrier foam lined bags

The kit can be configured to suit you with a choice of mash heights and fuselage lengths.

For wing boarding, we recommend the kit setup below, much depends on rider weight, ability and chosen foil sports.
> Wing: HS1850
> Mast: M72cm/28.5”
> Fuselage: TC60
> Tail Wing: HS232
> TTF: 0 degree

*Kit comes complete with – 0 and +1 degree tail wing shims, Kit carry bag, Bi Directional Titanium Washers, Titanium T-nuts, Screws, Torx tool, Protective mast and wing covers.

Beginners could consider a longer fuselage (TC70) to provide more pitch stability and/or a -2 degree tail wing shim to provide some directional drag.

For wing foiling this wing can be used for all riders in all winds, its a fantastic all round kit.   In addition it could be used for

-Surf: Ideal for ripping up small waves.
-SUP: Ideal for ripping up small waves.
-Wake: Wake foiling heavier riders.
-Downwind: All riders.

Consider an extra 1250 wing as an upgrade for higher wind days and more experienced riders

We have some standard kits here for you online – other permutations of components are available, please ask.
